Collaboration

Contact

In all things design, I do my best work and have the most fun, collaborating with people in a variety of disciplines. I am always on the lookout for intriguing opportunities to collaborate with landscape architects and planners, environmental designers and researchers, community involvement specialists, art therapists, teachers, scientists, artists and makers of all stripes. Following are some examples of contributions I might make in a collaborative environment. Have a project in mind? Please get in touch!

Educational Activities

Need a workshop, studio, demo or hands-on activity tailored to your group's interests? I love to teach, and am open to working with interested students of all disciplines, including (but not limited to!) architecture, landscape architecture, planning, product design, urban design and the visual arts.

Community Involvement

Are you a design firm, non-profit, academic institution or government agency exploring innovative methods of involving communities in the design of public spaces? I would love to contribute to these efforts, and am especially interested in non-traditional strategies to engage people who don't typically attend public meetings or return surveys.

Software Design

Do you have a software need related to landscape visualization, environmental design research or planning? With over a decade of software design experience under my belt, I can help you define and specify user interaction requirements, and communicate your vision to the engineers who will build it. I have special expertise in the visual representation of quantitative data, and experience designing for desktop and mobile platforms.

Information Visualization

I use visual thinking methods to work through complex design problems and model potential solutions. I diagram. I illustrate. I map. I chart. I make great posters. I participate in brainstorming sessions and capture the results on a single sheet of paper. How can I help your team?
